Do You Remember When Flight Attendants Wore These Uniforms?

I looked at this video with flight attendant uniforms, and to be honest there were a lot of uniforms I didn't recognize.  So, I'm posting the video for everyone to look at, and the person who is familiar with the most outfits worn by stewardesses will win a prize: a bag of print books, but none will be mine.

Just leave a comment giving me the number of uniforms you remember, and the one with the highest quantity will win.  Go to:  http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2013/08/fab-flight-attendant-flashback/

Have fun folks.  I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for reading my blog, and I hope your week is fantastic.  I'll see you next Sunday.

Best always,

Wow... those are some interesting uniforms. Believe it or not, I didn't recognize any of them. I wasn't on a plane until 1984. I loved the Go-Go boots one!

I remember them all! Does that mean I'm the winner! PS. To be honest, I had already seen the video.

No, you can't win, Tom. Gosh, I didn't know you were that old. lol I recognize those earlier ones, so I must have been in grade school and high school then. Smile!

I wanted to be a flight attendant. I actually applied for one of the airlines I had to have a total of eight photographs, close-ups and full body shots. I remember they were wearing something similar to the Mary Quant inspired uniform at that time. I wasn't picked. Sigh.

Wow...some are familiar, but most aren't.
At one point, I considered becoming a stewardess (term during the 60's). Even went to American Airlines for information. I remember wearing a blue suit, blue shoes, and had a matching blue purse. They suggested I take some general college courses and then apply.
I figured that if I didn't become a teacher, I'd try to become a stewardess...had never flown and didn't realize I didn't enjoy flying!

Morgan, did they give you a reason why you weren't selected? I'm sorry you weren't selected. You look like you could be a flight attendant, or maybe an actress.

Marianne, I didn't recognize a lot of them either. It's a good thing you didn't get the position since you don't enjoy flying. lol
