Are You and Your Spouse on the Same Schedule?
Years ago when we first married, my spouse and I spent all of our time together. We worked at the same place, and had the same hours. We were seldom separated from one another.
As we aged, my hubby required
less sleep and I found it necessary to get more rest. I’ve always needed more siesta time. My husband used to sleep as much as me, but
with age he can’t.
Now, he goes to bed by 8 or 9
at night, and I’m never in bed before 10:30 p.m. and sometimes much later. He’s
usually up between four and six in the morning, and I get up at seven thirty most days, unless I stay up very late.
My hubby likes to be on the
go all the time and he wants me to go with him.
Since, I’m an author I want to stay home and write. We compromise so both of us get what we want
some of the time but not always.
What differences in your
schedule do you have to work out with your spouse?
