Plan To Reach Goals

Last week I said I was working on a plan to reach my goals for this year.  Well here it is.

1.  Write two hours a day or more (this should provide me with 3 - 4 pages, or more)

2.  Check email and do social media for an hour

3.   Promotion for an hour

4.   Look over all I have written and revise if needed (always needed, I nit pick

5.  Write blog and post it for Sunday's

All of this is in between cooking, cleaning and going somewhere with my hubby since he gets stir crazy if he stays in the house too long.

The problem with these goals is the first two or three months are easy, but after that it can be hit or miss.  I really, really want to stick to these plans, so I will definitely try.

Also, I must admit hubby helps me with cooking and cleaning.  He's a good guy. I wish everyone the best in meeting their goals and New Year's resolutions.  Have a great week, and I'll see you next Sunday.

Those sound like doable goals. I'm glad your hubby helps. Mine does too and it's a blessing with the full time job.

I also would like to write more but forget all the extra things that come up. Time vs. words...which do you think is more helpful?

Thanks for coming by Melissa. Time is needed to get the words, so time is the most helpful. lol

It is all in one's priorities isn't it?

We manage to find the time to do the "fun" things...but things like cleaning a closet or weeding the garden seem to find themselves at the bottom of "our list of to do things".

At least that is the way it is with me.

LOL You're so right, Kari. Personally, I hate cleaning because I'm allergic to dust. As soon as I start vacuuming or dusting I start sneezing.

I use writing as an excuse not to do any cleaning, lol

Sandy said...

LoL James, I do that sometimes, too.

Happy New Year, Sandy!

Good luck with your writing goals, I have written mine out on my WP blog, too.

May you have a happy, healthy and prosperous 2015 and beyond!
