Stylish Blogger Award

Thanks to Annie Nicholas for awarding me the Stylish Blogger Award. You may visit her site here.

According to the award, I have to tell you seven things about myself. Yikes!

1. I have traveled in Egypt and there is so much history there. I could spend all my time
traveling.

2. When I was a kid, I loved picking peas out of the garden and eating them.

3. My husband made me make a choice between him and my horse, when he saw my
horse almost kick me in the head. He didn't want to be married to a vegetable.

4. I love to read but rarely have time to any more, since I'm a published author.

5. I have two cats named Dora and Midnight. It was a year February 18, 2010 when our
cat, Maxie, died. My dh and I still miss him.

6. I love the mountains, the ocean, the forest, the desert, and everything about our earth.

7. Colorado is a beautiful state, and I love to go there to visit my sister and her family.
We have so much fun together.

If you haven't seen my YouTube videos yet be sure to take a look:

Have a great week everyone. See you next Sunday.

Sandy

I would have been afraid to make my DH choose between me and his horses back when we had them. He loved those hayburners and so did I.

LOL Thanks, Mia.

My dh thought that horse was trying to kill me. Spirit's original owner was a man, and he didn't like me. lol I loved him though, and he walked all over me.

Sandy,

That's a great post. You are you're horse, huh? Are you glad you picked your hubby? LOL.

LOL Thanks, Christie.

Yes, I'm glad I picked my hubby. I would never have been a published author without him. Smile.

Sandy, congrats on the Stylish Blogger award:) Very well deserved! Why do we love stubborn animals, LOL!

Thanks, Paris.

Why don't I have your email address. I tried to find you this morning.

I totally agree about Colorado! My favorite state.

I've had my horse for 25 years now and if my hubby tried to make me choose, it wouldn't be a good thing. I married him knowing he was a hunter, he married me knowing I had a horse. 'Nuff said. :) A dangerous horse is a different story though.

I have always wanted to go to Egypt. I heard to stay out of Cairo. What are your thoughts?

I love horses, but good call by your dh.

Congrats on your award.

I am glad you picked your dh too. He is a keeper! I grew up around horses. I love them but my cats are so much easier!
I have always loved Ancient History and Cats so it is odd that I have never been to Egypt. Egypt is on my Bucket List.
Cogratulations on your Stylish Blogger Award!

Ahh, fresh picked peas--nothing like them! Hmm, don't think I blame your husband, lady!! Glad you have Midnight and Dora to ease missing Maxi. ((hugs))

Thank you, Isis.

We were in Cairo for two days on our own before we joined a tour for ten days.

The hotel, we stayed at was a Sheraton. The only trouble we had was at the bank. The men kept crowding in front of us, and I finally got mad and insisted the teller wait on us. I caused quite a stir. They weren't used to women asserting themselves.

Thank you, Susan.

Yes, cats are so much less work. lol

Sandy said...

Thank you, Joann. You're right, there's nothing like fresh picked peas.

Yes, I think hubby saved me from a fate worse than death.

Yes, we're glad we have Midnight and Dora, too. Hubby tells them about Maxie though. Sometimes, we think they see him here though.

I've always wanted to go to Egypt...but now's probably not a good time!
fun stuff about you, Sandy.

Sandy said...

Thanks, Marianne.

No, I don't think now would be a good time to go back to Egypt. I would love to see Greece. There are really many places I would to see in our country, too.

Thank you Sandy! Congrats on your award too :)

I'm a little late in responding, but have been behind with my emails lately.

I'd love to go to Egypt - when there is no trouble there of course ;-)

Hugs to you! I posted to day, too, if you'd like to take a look !
