I started my first book in my 20s and finished it in my 40s. That says it all. In between I got married, had a beautiful daughter, volunteered, taught bible classes (yes me which surprises many) and sang in a choir. I am actively pursuing publication now and have a lot of good things on the horizon.

I wish you every success in achieving your dream!!

:-)Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05383099148014297450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156580044494347982.post-69376621363727071462012-01-17T15:16:53.289-06:002012-01-17T15:16:53.289-06:00Thank you, Marianne. LOL
Actually, many of my dreams have been realized, and I'm indeed a fortunate man to be able to say that. I do have one left, though. My writing has taken a major turn and I'd like to be able to get the full series of my new mysteries written.
I just finished content edits on TOCCATA, first of my St. Louis Blues mysteries, due to be released in April. I'm nearly done with #2 and have #3 in mind.
I have a couple of books in the library now, and hope to have more of them there in the near future. As I said, I'm a lucky man. Now if my luck will only hold a bit longer...
That's my dream.
Cheers,
PDPat Dalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12190006506963492515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156580044494347982.post-7805758729464247662012-01-15T13:48:54.800-06:002012-01-15T13:48:54.800-06:00Great question Sandy! I want to see one of my books in hardback on all library shelves across the country. Even though every novel, novells, short, or anthology I have can be found on Amazon for the Kindle..and the Nook and the Sony Reader.
But I'm still a library person, and always will be, I suppose. Plus, I believe the print book will make a huge comeback when readers realize it's more fun to hold a print book than a piece of electronic equipment. It just is not the same.
And so,..that is My Dream.
Good question!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16272417114895975742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156580044494347982.post-36341361501559564652012-01-15T11:23:23.635-06:002012-01-15T11:23:23.635-06:00dreams help keep us focused. thanks for the timel...dreams help keep us focused. thanks for the timely reminder, SandyLouise Behielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115359639886414011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4156580044494347982.post-13866526785005528062012-01-15T11:00:16.941-06:002012-01-15T11:00:16.941-06:00Best of luck to you, Lynda.
